Subcommittees are responsible for reviewing and updating any needed changes to their sections of the guidelines and providing this at the meeting. The purpose of this proposal is to offer a designated space to discuss our guidelines, which can then be brought back to area with clarity to be reviewed.</p> <p>Proposal #260805P: Separate Arts and Graphic from Merchandise responsibilities. Guides 1 and 2 updated the guideline section for Celebration of Unity, Merchandise and Graphics; divided existing responsibilities to appropriate sections and added listing from proposal. (updated guidelines page section X, I. and J., page 45)</p> <p style=\"margin-left: 40px;\"><strong>A. Merchandise</strong><br /> The purpose of this Subcommittee is to work closely with all other Subcommittees to provide promotional material needed for events before and during the Convention. To provide recovery-related merchandise for sale and solicit any outside vendors.<br /> 1. Coordinates with the Fundraising Leader in a timely manner to provide flyers and tickets for upcoming events.<br /> 2. Proposes to the committee types of merchandise to be sold at the convention.<br /> 3. Finds trusted servants, with a minimum of 2 years clean, to help with the sale of preconvention merchandise and help at the merchandise store during the convention.<br /> 4. Is responsible for the “Merchandise Store” at the convention.<br /> 5. Works closely with Registration and Programming Subcommittees for the purchase of merchandise for registration and programming gifts and literature.<br /> 6. Merchandise Leader should keep accurate records of sales and inventory.<br /> 7. Responsible for the storage of all Convention merchandise items. Provide a secure place for storage and the delivery of all receipts.</p> <p style=\"margin-left: 40px;\"><strong>B. Graphics</strong><br /> 1. Is charged with introducing a new Convention theme and logo for the Convention.<br /> 2. Coordinate with Fundraising to provide flyers and tickets.<br /> 3. Be responsible for printing all necessary Trusted Servant, Subcommittee, and special worker badges.<br /> 4. Is responsible for designing & production of banners, programs, flyers, tickets, Convention posters and all Convention merchandise using the new Convention logo.<br /> 5. Introduce new Convention theme and logo.<br /> 6. Design and produce banners, programs, flyers, tickets, convention posters and convention merchandise.<br /> 7.
